Prof Rupert Leong 

Professor Rupert Leong is Professor of Medicine at the University of Sydney and Macquarie University, and Head of IBD Services and Director of Endoscopy at Concord Hospital, Sydney. Internationally recognised for his expertise in inflammatory bowel disease, he has authored over 400 peer-reviewed publications and led multiple international consensus guidelines. He is a trustee of the Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Foundation, an executive member of the GESA IBD Faculty, and member of IOIBD. His work advances global collaboration, education, and equity in IBD care.
