Dr Ralley Prentice
Ralley grew up and completed her medical degree in Tasmania before moving to Melbourne to complete her gastroenterology training. She currently holds public appointments at Monash Health, Austin Health and St Vincent’s hospital Melbourne. Ralley has submitted her PhD addressing the management of Inflammatory Bowel Disease in pregnancy, for which she received grants from the National Health and Medical Research Council, and Crohn’s Colitis Australia foundation. She has published multiple manuscripts in this area in top level gastroenterology journals, with her work influencing international guidelines for the management of inflammatory bowel disease in pregnancy. She was awarded the Young Investigator June Halliday Basic Science and People’s choice awards at Australian Gastroenterology Week 2024, whilst her work was awarded a top digital oral presentation award at ECCO 2025.
