Neil Gupta

Neil Gupta MD, MPH, FASGE is the managing partner of Midwest Digestive Health & Nutrition, an independent gastroenterology practice based in Chicago, IL.  He has previously served in numerous executive leadership roles within academic medical centers and US national health systems including oversight over medical groups, ambulatory networks, regional service lines, IT, and revenue cycle.  

Dr. Gupta has clinical and research interests in interventional endoscopy, malignant and pre-malignant conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, and healthcare economics. He has published over 100 papers in peer-reviewed medical journals, presented over 300 abstracts at national medical conferences, and written chapters for several medical textbooks. He teaches physicians how to perform complex endoscopy procedures at courses throughout the country and internationally. Dr. Gupta currently serves on committees for the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), and the International Society for Diseases of the Esophagus (ISDE)
