Dr Matthew Choy

Dr Matthew Choy is a Gastroenterologist at Austin Health (Melbourne) and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne. He is a clinician researcher, was awarded a PhD from the University of Melbourne examining Acute Severe Ulcerative Colitis and completed an advanced endoscopy fellowship at St Mark’s National Bowel Hospital (London). Matthew has a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), particularly in therapeutic endoscopy and IBD-associated dysplasia management.
