Manel Fernando 

Manel Fernando is an experienced public sector leader with over 20 years in leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and reform delivery. She currently serves in the Benefits Integrity Division at the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing where she leads large-scale early intervention compliance initiatives that drive behavioural change and strengthen system integrity.

Manel holds a Master’s degree in Personal Injury Management from Griffith University and brings a deep understanding of compliance, integrity, and public policy to her work.
