A/Prof Mai Ling Perman

Dr Mai Ling Perman completed her undergraduate medical and specialist training in Fiji.   

She is the Head of the School of Medical Sciences at the Fiji National University.  She holds other several leadership roles, including President of the Internal Medicine Organization of the Pacific (IMOP), Co-Director of the WGO Suva Training Centre, and Board (Hon.) of Australia and New Zealand Gastrointestinal Training Association (ANZGITA). 

Dr Perman serves as a member of the World Gastroenterology Organization (WGO) Climate Change Working Group (CCWG), which has members from sixteen countries representing high, medium and low-income populations.
