Dr Luke Vlismas

Dr Luke Vlismas is a gastroenterologist and therapeutic endoscopy fellow at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, gaining experience in both hepatopancreatobiliary and advanced luminal endoscopy. He completed his core gastroenterology and hepatology training across multiple sites in New South Wales before commencing a post-FRACP fellowship in Brisbane in 2025. He will remain at RBWH in 2026 to undertake a dedicated hepatopancreatobiliary endoscopy year. Luke has particular interests in ERCP, therapeutic EUS, Barrett’s dysplasia, complex polyps, and enteroscopy. His clinical work is complemented by an active research portfolio and ongoing involvement in teaching and quality improvement.
