A/Prof Kavitha Subramaniam
Kavitha Subramaniam is an Associate Professor at the Australian National University School of Medicine and Psychology and a Senior Staff Specialist in the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Unit at the Canberra Hospital.
She leads and manages a large cohort of patients with complex inflammatory bowel disease. She is actively involved in clinical research including multi-centre clinical trials in inflammatory bowel diseases. She has a strong interest in sarcopenia especially in inflammatory bowel disease.
Kavitha serves on a number of local, national and federal government committees including being a very active executive committee member of the Gastroenterology Society of Australia Inflammatory Bowel Disease Faculty for at least the last five years.
