Dr John Chetwood

Dr John Chetwood is a gastroenterologist at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney and Northern Beaches Hospital, a PhD candidate and NHMRC scholarship recipient through the University of Sydney into optimising advanced therapeutics in IBD. 

John has a dual BSc/MBBS with distinctions from Imperial College London, and a DTM&H with distinction from Liverpool School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He has been awarded multiple clinical prizes and distinctions and a Young Investigator Award. He holds a Clinical Associate Lecturer title with the University of Sydney and is involved in gastroenterology mentorship and education.
