Prof Jane Andrews
Professor Andrews leads Crohn’s Colitis Cure while serving as a senior Consultant in the IBD Service at The Royal Adelaide Hospital and Clinical Professor at the University of Adelaide’s Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. With extensive clinical and research experience in IBD and functional gastrointestinal disorders, she has previously headed the Gastroenterology Department at RAH and, more recently, was Medical Lead for the GI, General and Trauma Services Division in CALHN, where she developed significant business expertise. An active researcher with an h-index of 58 (ResearchGate), Professor Andrews focuses on health access, models of care, equity, e-Health, and tools to optimise clinical management. Recognised as GESA Distinguished Researcher in 2024, she was recently appointed co-chair of GLIDE – The Global IBD Registry project, reflecting her international leadership in IBD care and research.
