Dr Eric Lee
Dr Eric Lee is a Staff Specialist Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist at Westmead Hospital Sydney with clinical expertise in endoscopic tissue resection of early cancers of the GI tract and ERCP-EUS for pancreatico-biliary disorders. A medical graduate of the University of New South Wales, he completed training in Gastroenterology at Westmead and Royal North Shore Hospitals in Sydney before completing the prestigious Clinical Fellowship in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy with the University of Toronto, Canada.
Passionate about research and teaching in gastrointestinal endoscopy, he is a regular speaker at scientific meetings and has numerous publications in high impact peer-reviewed journals. He has previously served on GESA's Faculty of Endoscopy committee, the Education Committee of the World Endoscopy Organization (WEO), and Scientific Program Committees for Australian Gastroenterology Week (AGW). At Westmead Hospital, he continues to be in the Organising Committee for the Annual Sydney International Endoscopy Symposium.
