Carly Bramley
Carly completed her nurse training in the UK in 2009, before emigrating to New Zealand in 2011. There she obtained her PG Diploma in Nurse Prescribing, becoming an RN Prescriber in 2021, as well as her Masters of Nursing in 2024. She is on her PhD journey as of 1st April 2025.
Carly started her IBD nurse journey in 2016, in Timaru, New Zealand where she built the service from the ground up and is now in Brisbane Australia, where she is currently Associate Clinical Nurse Consultant IBD.
Carly is the current IBDNA National Steering Committee Chair, having been a committee member since 2021, and an IBDNA Education Sub-Committee member. Carly was also the Education Lead on the NZ IBD Nurse Committee. Carly has also written in the Hepatology Research Review in New Zealand, as well as presenting at several conferences over the years.
