Dr Brandon Baraty

Dr. Brandon Baraty is a Gastroenterologist based in Sydney, and a graduate of the University of Sydney Medical School. He was awarded his FRACP in 2017 and went on to complete a unique 12-month fellowship in IBD ultrasound imaging in Calgary, Canada in 2019. He holds accreditations from both the International Bowel Ultrasound Group (2019) and the Australian Gastroenterology Network of Intestinal Ultrasound (2021), where he is also a committee member.

Dr. Baraty currently serves as Head of Discipline at Macquarie University Hospital, where he also holds a position as Clinical Lecturer. He is Director of Endoscopy at Ryde Hospital and works with the IBD unit at St Vincent’s Hospital, providing advanced intestinal ultrasound services and contributing to the education of future specialists.

Brandon is a passionate advocate for the integration of ultrasound in IBD assessment and management, and is committed to fostering a community of ultrasound practitioners across Sydney.
