Prof Marie Sinclair

Winthrop Professor Gary Jeffrey obtained his MB BS in 1980 from the University of WA.  His clinical training in Gastroenterology/Hepatology was at the Royal Free Hospital, London with Prof Dame Sheila Sherlock and at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth. In 1990/91 he was a post-doctoral fellow at the GI Unit, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical school. 1991 appointed Senior Lecturer, UWA and Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.  He has been Head, Dept of Gastroenterology/Hepatology, Medical Director Gastro/Renal Division and Head, Dept of Hepatology SCGH. Current Medical Director of the WA Liver Transplantation Service. He continues clinical and basic research.
